Dear George, We have granted your TEDx event license and are thrilled to have you taking part in the TEDx program. This license permits you to organize 1 TEDx event within the next 12 months. After your event, you will have the remainder of the 12 months to apply to renew your license for the name you have selected. After that time, should you not renew, the name will be made available for use by other organizers.

Sent: Friday, February 6, 2015 3:26:11 PM Subject: Volunteers sought for TEDxSVSU George Corser, assistant professor of computer science and information systems, has received an SVSU Foundation Resource Grant to host TEDxSVSU Saturday , Aug. 1. In keeping with the popular TED talks, the program will bring distinguished speakers to campus to deliver thought-provoking talks on the topics of technology, entertainment and design in 18 minutes or less. Faculty, staff and student volunteers are needed to make this event a success. An organizational meeting will be held Wednesday , Feb. 11 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Science East 171 for those who may be interested in volunteering. UNIVERSITY CENTER, MI - The first face-to-face meeting of TEDxSVSU volunteers will be held Wednesday, January 14 at 2:30 pm in classroom SE-116. That's right across from Starbucks. The meeting will (1) review the overall process of delivering a TED event and (2) assign volunteers to committees.
